Following the playground renovation, trees will be planted to allow for shade and we will continue to work with the City of Norfolk on correcting the drainage issue that is prevalent at the end of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Money for repair or replacement of the benches as well as other landscaping improvements are not part of the city budget for this project. If you are interested in taking the project "up a notch" please contact Steve Earnhart, Committee Chair (scearnhart@gmail.com) or CPRV Civic League President Sheila Janes (thejanesfam@yahoo.com). No one is too young or too old to enjoy a great playground!
