Join us for another epic community Happy Hour, hosted by Social Events, on 9/17 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Elation Brewing.
We have a nomination for the elected board position of Neighborhood Representative. The bylaws state that the role of a Neighborhood Representative is as follows:
“The neighborhood representative shall be a resident of and represent either neighborhood if, after the election of the other four elected officers, such neighborhood is not otherwise represented by another elected officer.”
Patience MacCartney is a Riverview resident interested in becoming more involved in our community and has been nominated for the position. A special election will take place during our civic league meeting on March 13, 2023. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with Laura Burns at president@cprv.net.
We hope to see everyone at the February meeting! Make sure to sign up here!

It was great to welcome our members and guests this month—and to remind everyone that our civic league meetings are open to all neighbors. Vice President Gene Ward noted that while turnout was strong, there’s still room to grow. Please invite a friend or neighbor to join us for our next meeting on September 8.

Red, White & ZOOM! July’s Bike Parade rolled through Riverview and Colonial Place, ending in a popsicle social. We also made strides on streetlight outages—thanks to our Civic League and neighbors for taking action. Plus: Mack’s Barge updates, Leila’s ABC request, and a newsletter full of fun.
