In October of 2022, the city of Norfolk reached out regarding our neighborhood’s desire to install 4-way stop signs at Columbus Ave and LaValette Ave.
During our Civic League meeting in December, the idea was presented to the membership, and the membership voted in favor of installing the 4-way stop signs. At the end of February, the city installed the additional stop sign.
We appreciate the city and the Civic League working together to make this happen!

It was great to welcome our members and guests this month—and to remind everyone that our civic league meetings are open to all neighbors.
